What are the benefits of using CBD?

What is the difference between Isolate, Broad Spectrum and Full Spectrum CBD?

CBD is a specific cannabinoid botanical compound found in industrial hemp. Full Spectrum CBD is derived from hemp and is non-psychoactive. It contains contains terpenes, essential oils, and other cannabinoids from the plant, and has less than .03% THC, qualifying it legal in all 50 states. Full Spectrum products do contain trace amounts of THC.

Broad spectrum CBD sits right in the middle. It has been extracted from the hemp plant with all other compounds except for the THC. That means it contains terpenes, essential oils, and other cannabinoids. Broad spectrum products contact zero THC.

CBD Isolate goes through several more processing stages than Full or Broad Spectrum CBD. These processes separate the CBD from all other compounds including THC. CBD Isolate contains zero THC.

Is CBD Legal?

Yes – all CBD in HLNG products contain industrial hemp sourced from state regulated, certified, and accredited farms in compliance with the Federal Farm Bill. Every single HLNG product is legal in all 50 states. HLNG only sources CBD from USA grown industrial hemp.

Will I have trouble with drug tests using CBD?

HLNG CBD oil is sourced from USA-grown industrial hemp, and may contain trace THC levels below 0.3%. HLNG does not guarantee that you will or will not pass a drug screen after consuming our products. It is possible that the trace THC content may show up on various drug screenings.

  • Is Hemp-Derived CBD Legal? Mitch McConnell Thinks it Ought to Be.

    Farm Bill Amendment Passes in Senate. Upcoming House Vote Could End All Controversy Regarding Hemp-Derived CBD.

    There was some very exciting news over the past few weeks concerning hemp and CBD.  With the full support of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, the Senate voted overwhelmingly (86-11) to approve an amendment to the Farm Bill that would officially recognize Hemp as legal to grow and cultivate in all U.S. States and territories.  Even more promising, against a huge public outcry, the Senate committee opted to ignore language that would have carved out hemp derivatives, such as CBD extracts and hemp-derived CBD, as illegal and still subject to the Controlled Substances Act. While the House still needs to approve the Bill before it goes into law, the lopsided support in favor of the bill bodes well for its chances of being approved by Congress.
